Immediate opening. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic shop assistant to join our company. In this full-time entry-level position, you will assist around the shop with a variety of tasks, while also operating a sweeper truck and pressure washing. If you are eager to learn this fun and exciting trade, are motivated and ambitious, this could be the position for you. Duties: light maintenance on trucks & equipment clean and maintain trucks & equipment operate sweeper truck clean & organize shop and yard pressure washing assisting our mechanic running errand Shop Assistant Requirements: Previous experience in light mechanics or shop work appreciated but not required Have familiarity with tools Have strong communication skills Physically capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 75 lbs and work in the outdoor elements Dependable and reliable to show up for scheduled work shifts, including overtime if needed Must be able to work effectively and efficiently both as a team member and independently Valid driver’s license required
