Description
The Product Installation Specialist is a non-exempt level position at ChaseDesign that will provide onsite installation at our Operations Lab. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to: set up and installation of retail shelving and displays, retrieving and orderly storage of said fixtures and displays, interacting and taking direction from clients as well as colleagues, conducting retail store audits as necessary to assess layout for prototype installations, maintaining communication with all involved parties throughout the project, ongoing development of successful product installation processes and procedures adhering to project deadlines. As a Product Installation Specialist, you’d: -Tasks include but are not limited to installation and setup of store fixtures, displays, exhibits, kiosks within the client’s facility as well as preparation as needed for customer visits and internal events -Attend the provided safety training and certification sessions needed to meet requirements of working within the Facility -Display installation trouble shooting, minor repair of existing or new exhibits and displays, on site problem solving of installation issues -Independently travel to various retail locations to conduct store audits with the objective of evaluating the retail space for design installation and implementation -Provide input and make recommendations to the project and/or design management team as appropriate to the project; move forward with the decision made by the client, design director and/or project manager -Provide leadership and manage details of what is required for a successful installation (i.e. coordination with ChaseDesign model lab and fabrication vendors), materials and components, information from internal design and project teams at ChaseDesign -Trouble shoot and resolve issues on site as well as represent ChaseDesign in a professional manner Assess the quality of project installations and make any necessary adjustments -Communicate with clients (particularly while on-site at the installation) to respond to any concerns, questions, or recommendations they may have -Work with Design Implementation team to purchase products, set shelves and fabricate elements for sets -Manage inventory and materials as well as storage location and accessibility -Promote consistently excellent planogram, audit and installation process, help to inform and educate less experienced staff and clients, to ensure the work is successful
