As a professional mover, you will be packing and moving customers' household goods or office belongings. Moves range from just a single item or an entire home or office. Items to be moved can weigh several hundred pounds. The workday can vary between 8-12 hours. (Longer is not usual) Shift Starts at 7:00AM MON - FRI. The demands require a person who is has the ability to lift and stand for longer hours.
Responsibilities as a MOVER/PACKER:
MOVERS will be responsible for wrapping household goods in protective material ensuring that no items are damaged while moving. Take inventory of items to ensure that no items are lost during transport. Place furniture in requested positions at a new assigned location.
PACKERS will be responsible for box-packing items such as books, artwork, furniture and more. Carrying heavy items up/down stairways. Disassembling and reassembling furniture and equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Drivers must have valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to drive a box truck or semi-truck.
Capable of lifting 75lbs on a regular basis.
Friendly, safety-minded, positive attitude, good communication and customer service skills.
$$$ PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE $$$
