Description Qualified candidate will inspect, maintain and install new and fire extinguishers/kitchen fire suppression systems. Candidate will also be responsible for the sales of new products to the customers. Primary Functions: • Inspect and service fire extinguishers • Inspect and service commercial/restaurant fire suppression systems • Respond to trouble calls • Sell to customers needing products and services to meet compliance with current fire codes • Complete and process all necessary paperwork in a timely fashion • Maintain established client accounts • Ensure high level of customer service, satisfaction and communication • Ensure continued communication and cooperation with staff • Follow Safety rules and good driving habits • Follow company policies and procedures Requirements: • Have the ability to work with their hands and possess technical and/or mechanical skills • Have the ability to manage a route servicing existing and new customers fire protection equipment • Have a good understanding of building codes and regulations • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and schematics • Be able to obtain and retain appropriate certifications and/or licenses • Have customer oriented interpersonal skills • Be willing to attend safety sessions and training classes • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Work Environment: All commercial buildings including restaurants, retail, office, hotels, and various industrial, educational facilities, nursing homes, hospitals etc. No experience necessary but must be mechanically inclined with pipe fitting and threading experience
