I've been every year, since then, with the exception of the rona closure.. I went to opening night last night, Romeo and Juliet. In truth, I don't actually think I'm a fan. I file Shakespeare under the same category as the Red Hot Chili Peppers. One or two hits, followed by a collection of self-plagiarizing misfires. But, I still enjoy the scenery and the setting of the event. I left after the first half last night, due to poor planning, didn't have hooch or proper snacks...I might go back Sunday and catch the second half. Fan or no, it's something to do, outside. A Midsummer Night's Dream, is the only one I truly enjoy..I certainly wish they'd bring it back.. (this is not a random post)
