A&S is a fast paced high volume commercial stone and tile contractor serving the D.C. area for over 50 years. Position Responsibilities: Operate forklift and overhead crane Assist in receiving, labeling and organizing all received shipments within the warehouse Load trucks and deliver materials to job site. This involves heavy lifting of tile and stone. General warehouse duties including but not limited to: clean warehouse on a daily basis, sweep floors, remove debris, general upkeep of entire work area Position Requirements: Forklift Certified Operator (Preferred but not Required) Operate overhead crane Operate and drive flat bed trucks High attention to detail and very organized Ability to work independently and efficiently Ability to multitask, prioritize and exhibit excellent time management skills Ability to lift/move 75+lbs Load/lift multiple boxes of tile or stone Must have valid ID and driver's license with clean driving record Must be 18 years of age or older Must speak English Experience in a stone and tile warehouse is a plus! We are willing to train the right person who displays a willingness to learn and grow with our company Hours: Full-Time Monday - Friday. Occasional Saturdays if needed.
