Bicycle needed

I recently moved here and am in need of a free working bicycle for employment and general transportation, as I have a bad leg and cannot walk far, and/or carry much weight while doing so. Please, no bmx style. They are too small for me to ride comfortably. Any information as to a charity, or the like, would also be appreciated. Thank you.
