Hazley Builders is looking for a motivated and hardworking Laborer to join our highly skilled, and hard-working team that wants to have fun at work and do a great job. This position will report to the Production Manager and work typically Monday through Friday. This role is a full-time, hourly role located in the West Chester area with benefits. Roles and responsibilities of the job will include and are not limited to the following: • Help Project Managers, Carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. • Load or unload construction materials. • Put together and take apart job site prep materials. • Follow instructions from supervisors. • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary. • Perform site clean-up daily. • Transport materials to and from job sites from various locations. QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. • Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions. • Motivated, self-starter, detail-oriented, highly organized with a positive, can-do attitude. • Ability to interact and communicate well with clients, team members, vendors, and specialty trade contractors. • Ability to work within deadlines. • Maintain a valid driver’s license and state-required insurance. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. • Frequent standing, walking and sitting. • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds. • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds. • Ability to work on ladders and roofs up to 50 feet off the ground. • Must be able to use a computer and see color. • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
