Sax/Drums - Unconventional Start up

Looking to start a project/band in the vein of Morphine (90's alt rock). Combining blues & jazz elements with more traditional rock arrangements. A minimalist, low-end 'power trio' NOT based around the electric guitar. Baritone Sax preferred - at least as a jumping off point - but open to ideas (Brass). A potential drummer is in mind - but not approached yet, so I'm still looking. I play bass, have equipment, a place to play and decades of writing, recording & live experience.
