General Overview of Maintenance Tech Responsibilities
Make apartments ready for new residents and complete checklist to ensure all tasks are complete.
Communicate with contractors regarding mechanical issues, painting, flooring etc.
Walk units after contractors and prior to resident move in to verify work is complete, communicate to PM.
Communicate with PM when workorders are complete.
Perform routine maintenance tasks and make repairs to both vacant and occupied apartments.
Walk properties checking condition of common areas both interior and exterior.
Painting when necessary.
Carry maintenance phone and respond to emergency calls after hours.
Must have reliable transportation.
Assist with snow removal and at times trash removal.
