We are a community service 17 member big band, established in 2017 and located in the central Dallas area. We play a variety of musical styles to include Jazz, Swing, Latin Jazz, Latin, and Ballroom Dance. All members are unpaid volunteers. Our goals are: 1) to provide music to charitable and community groups or organizations who ordinarily would not have access to the entertainment we provide, and 2) to maintain and improve our musicianship. We rehearse Monday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas.We are a community service big band, established in 2017 and located in the central Dallas area. All members are unpaid volunteers. Our goals are: 1) to provide music to charitable and community groups or organizations who ordinarily would not have access to the entertainment we provide and 2) to maintain and improve our musicianship. We're looking for a Drummer who's interested in playing with a large Jazz, Swing, Latin, Latin Jazz community "Big Band" as either a full time member or sub. Intermediate or higher skill level required. You must be an adult, 21 or older. Weekly rehearsals in central Dallas, Mondays, 7:30 to 9:30 PM. If interested, please respond for details. I'm looking to make more friends through this experience I'd REALLY prefer my band mates to be within my age group (25-35). I'm self taught and wouldn't say that I lean towards any particular genre more than another, but we both really like The Strokes lately and I'm REALLY trying to avoid country and metal type music.I'm a drummer and I'm currently in a monthly rehearsal room at Texas Jam in Plano. I am looking for a band/musicians to share the rehearsal space, i.e. potentially a project I can be a part of. My drums are set up in the monthly rehearsal space. LEAD VOCALIST or LEAD VOCALIST TEAM WANTED (MALE / FEMALE or 2 FEMALE combo) FOR 80's / 90's ROCK / HARD ROCK COVER BAND BedRock's current lead vocalists have their own band and they've been awesome to help us out all this time, but sadly the 2 bands will soon be clashing show dates, so it's time that BedRock actively looks for lead vocals. Lisa and Maggie have been very kind to stick with us until we find the right replacement(s), so all BedRock shows will go on as scheduled.
