Description
Need 2 workers early Thursday for 4-6 hours. Maybe 8 hours. There will be 4 of "us" around but we're pretty trashed from doing a lot of this over the last 6 months.
Ability to follow directions, height (I'm tall so tend to stack 7+ feet high), strength in general and strong hands in particular, workshop-oriented organizational skills, familiarity with hand tools, power tools, carpentry/handyman experience, automotive, laboratory experience, common sense all plusses.
Depending on who you ask we'll be getting started between 7 and 9 am Thursday. Be nice to beat the heat.
We're on Banning Way in Vallejo. You should have your own car or be close so we can pick you up.
Please text and email.
Ultimately need to unload a 23 foot liftgate truck, and move about the same amount of stuff left outside and/or poorly organized from a previous 23 foot load.
Lot of boxes and containers 20-50 pounds each, some office furniture but we left the heavy stuff behind, I think. A couple nasty pieces ~500 lbs. each but we have 1,000 lb lifts.
About 500 square feet of interior floor needs dry scrubbing of one-side-good plywood to keep dust down and prep for painting next week.
Some light-duty boltless pallet rack needs to be assembled in the space to accommodate the material.
Somebody may have to cut some plywood for that rack, a lot of it is 95.5" wide and Lowes and HD refused to zip that 1/2 off. Might be what I'll be doing.
Other odd jobs in support of the project.
