Outside Assistant Gravity Vineyards & Winery is a growing operation in Baroda, Michigan. We grow about 30 acres of grapes and produce still and sparkling wines and ciders. We are looking for a motivated individual that would like to work in the wine industry with the opportunity to build their skills and grow with the company. This position is approximately 40hours per week: Typically Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. Saturday’s may occasionally be required and hours may vary seasonally. Your responsibilities will include.... Vineyard maintenance Cleaning buildings and equipment Being part of our bottling/canning crew Assisting with processing fruit Other supporting jobs as needed Requirements to be considered... Must have reliable transportation and be on time to work every day Attention to detail Ability and willingness to follow instructions Common sense Physically fit: able to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis able to crawl inside of wine tanks for cleaning various other physically demanding jobs And of course...ethical, honest, and hard working! Starting compensation: $12-16 per hour depending on experience
