We are a large independent (used car) lot looking for a Service Manager. We have over 200 vehicles in our inventory and it is a constant job to get them ready for sale and to manage the fleet. You will be in charge of scheduling work and keeping mechanics and detailers busy. As well as coordinating with all 3rd party vendors.
We have a reconditioning program and Dealertrack for our DMS. Experience with VAuto, IRecon, or Dealertrack not necessary but a plus.
Primary job duties to include parts ordering, coordinating with multiple vendors such as PDR, paint, interior, etc., scheduling work for 2 mechanics and 4 detailers, dealing and scheduling customer work or work promised during sale.
We take on no work from the public we service only what we sell. Meaning we service and recondition ALL vehicles before sale and once it is sold we service the vehicle for as long as the customer owns it.
Must have following skills:
Computer literacy
must be organized
job requires some data entry
work outside and inside
valid driver's license
customer service oriented
Monday through Friday 8:30 - 5 and some Saturday's required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
