Let's Go Birding Together walks are for anyone who loves birds, likes birds, is vaguely interested in birds, or just wants something fun and different to do in the outdoors. We welcome those who identify as LGBTQ, allies, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy an outdoor experience that is inclusive. Led by staff and volunteers, join us to learn about the recently restored habitats at Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge. The trail is mostly flat, hard packed gravel, and we will wander at a pretty slow pace pointing out bird along the way. The trail system is about 7 miles total, though we will likely only make it about 1.5 miles into the Refuge. You may turn back at any point. Binoculars and spotting scopes available to borrow.  Donuts, pastries, and drinks included!
