Description

Let us know of your plans to participate with the Diocese of Olympia in the Seattle Pride Parade! Registration Info: Each participant needs to register individually. Each participant (over 5 years-old) must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 to participate in the PRIDE Parade. More info: Join the Diocese of Olympia for the 2022 Seattle Pride Parade. Though many, we truly are one as we march for justice and dignity. By our actions we demonstrate that the Episcopal Church of Western Washington really does welcome everyone! The 2.5-mile route starts at 4th & Pike and ends at 2nd Ave & Denny Way. Marchers will gather in late morning and begin to walk in early afternoon. The Diocese of Olympia’s line up spot typically is several blocks south of the start line, so it will take some time for our group to start marching. Churches are encouraged to walk with their church banner, and clergy are encouraged to march in clericals. T-shirts (red "The Episcopal Church Welcomes You" shirts) will be available as our gift, and signs will be provided, but feel free to bring your own homemade sign and/or flag too! Exact information on time and location will be emailed to those who sign-up using this form shortly before the parade date. We will also provide you with the cell number of our point of contact on the parade route. Let’s show up as joyful and proud Episcopalians who know the meaning of hospitality and the wide embrace of God’s love. Thank you to this year's coordinators: Sue Mings, Postulant for Holy Orders; Rose Hazard, Saint Mark's Cathedral; and Valerie Reinke, Office of the Bishop. Questions? E-mail: [email protected]
