THE SHORT AND SWEET OF IT: First Annual Elation Brewing IPA Invitational, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit local charities. - 12 Guest Breweries each with 2 of their best IPAs - Food Specials from our in house kitchen & The Bakehouse Wood-Fired Pizza - Live music (Nate Sacks, The James River Jazz Band & The Britesmiths) - General Admission Tickets $40 (unlimited beer tastings, tasting glass, and awesome music) - Designated Driver Tickets $5 (Music Entrance) - VIP Tickets $60 (1-hour early entrance, all GA swag, dedicated VIP area, Brats, Wood-fired pizza and munchies) MOST OF THE NITTY GRITTY: This is a rain or shine event, with proceeds to benefit local charities. Tickets are $40 in advance and $45 at the door / VIP Tickets are $60. This is a closed ticketed event only. The tasting room will be open during the event Designated Driver tickets are available No outside food or drink, tables, coolers, tents or large umbrellas are permitted. Non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase in the Elation Brewing Tasting Room. Can I bring in my picnic basket? No Boo-Boo, not this year. Can I bring in my own wine, beer or other alcohol? No, ABC regulations forbid any outside alcohol being brought into the event. Can I buy a glass of beer from the Elation Tasting Room and drink it in the event area? Yes, as long as you have an event ticket and an appropriate wristband; this is a beer festival after all. Can I buy an event beer glass? No. Glassware is limited to attendees with a valid event ticket. Can I bring my pet in? No, this is not a pet friendly event. Service animals are allowed. Can minors attend the event without charge? No. Due to space limitations and COVID restrictions, this is not a kid-friendly event. Can our designated driver come in without charge? No. Due to limited ticket availability, all attendees must purchase a ticket. But it helps that the ticket is only $5. This helps us pay the bands. Can an extra person sit at our VIP table? No. due to space limitations, we must strictly enforce the number of people allowed at each table in the VIP area. Is food included in the ticket price? No. However, food is available for purchase in the Tasting Room and at designated food tent(s). Tasty munchies are availabe for the VIP ticket holders. What breweries will be there? In addition to yours truly, we'll have Billsburg Brewing, The Bold Mariner, Garden Grove, Big Ugly Brewing, Caiseal, Aleworks, Precarious Beer Project, Deadline Brewing, Three Notch'd, MoMac Brewing & Nansemond Brewing.
