Join Sherida (Rara) Welch, a certified 200-Hour yoga teacher, for a 7 class Yoga Journey through the Chakras. Throughout this series, you will gain an understanding of all 7 Chakras, Practice yoga sequencing designed to focus on and open each chakra and explore the use of crystals to harness their healing energy. You will learn about each chakra’s individual characteristics and the possible causes for energy blocks, as well as what happens to your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health when your chakras are in or out of harmony. This Chakra Balancing series is your guide to building, nourishing, and balancing your well-being as you navigate the world today. This series of 60-minute classes are suitable for all levels. Each class incorporates yoga postures, restorative use of props, gentle movement sequences, breathwork, supported meditation, and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body and quieting of the nervous system. Join Sherida (Rara) Welch, a certified 200-Hour yoga teacher for an in- person 60-minute Heart Chakra balancing class. (class 4 of this 7 class chakra series). The Heart Chakra is located at the heart center and is associated with the color Green. It is connected with feelings of being surrounded by love, compassion, joy, and being connected to the world around you! When this Chakra is out of balance you may experience co-dependency, manipulative behaviors, feelings of unworthiness, and an inability to trust yourself or others In this class, we will explore balancing the Heart Chakra though a journey of yoga postures, guided visualizations, breathwork and supported meditation designed to bring you mindfully inward. Each class incorporates yoga postures, restorative use of props, gentle movement sequences, breathwork, supported meditation and guided relaxation to support increased awareness and mindfulness of the breath and body and quieting of the nervous system. Please bring your own yoga mat and 2 blocks. Additional props are provided. If you would like to bring your own props, please feel free to do so. Example of additional props: Bolsters, Mexican blanket (throw Blanket) , yoga strap. This class is for ALL levels. *We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low participation.
