Job Description The Sign Manufacturing and Installation Specialist position has a wide range of responsibilities and variety. If you enjoy working on something new and different every day, this is the position for you. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced environment and is easily able to change gears as needed from fabrication to installation responsibilities. The ability to lift more than 50 lbs and work at heights up to 12’ is required. Previous Sign Installation experience is required. Candidates must be willing to work within our safety guidelines and meet the physical requirements of the position. Some light construction experience helpful. Ability to accurately measure and cut materials and substrates. Ability to organize and accurately relay site survey information to sales team. RESPONSIBILITIES Manufacturing • Confirms Work Order requirements with Sales Team as needed • Works with Graphics Production to organize and ensure workflow and project completion requirements. • Prints, laminates, contour cuts, weeds and tapes vinyl graphics using a vinyl cutter and Roland Wide Format Printer • Assembles vinyl and dimensional graphics onto a variety of substrates • Reviews incoming sign product orders from vendors for completeness and accuracy • Other sign assembly/manufacturing responsibilities as needed Installation • Works with COO and Sales to schedule and coordinate installation at customer sites. • Loads and transports signs to installation location • Prepares worksite and coordinates with clients to ensure appropriate location, height, etc. • Installs signs in compliance with provided work orders. • Cleans installation site when complete. • Gets customer sign offs as needed when installation is complete. • Installations include ground signs (post and panel), window and wall graphics, truck lettering, ADA Signage, Dimensional Letters and logos, panel signs, etc. Vehicle Wrap experience is helpful, but not required. Other • Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and organize installation tools, hardware, and equipment. • Site Surveys for sign permitting and for sign estimating. • Other related responsibilities as needed. Qualifications • Min. of High School or Trade School, Assoc. Degree preferred • A minimum of 2 years of sign manufacturing and installation experience • Safety and Customer Service oriented • Highly professional and dependable • Organize with attention to detail • Basic Microsoft Office skills including Outlook email • Experience with Roland Printers, Vinyl Cutters, laminators and other print/sign equipment • Must be physically able to lift 50+ lbs, perform all types of non-electrical sign installations, climbing, digging and working at heights up to 12 feet. • Unrestricted Drivers License and clean driving record.
