The Cabin Project is a Portland, Or-based, orchestral rock band whose sound stems from haunting choruses, harmonies, delay pedals, synths and string sections. The band, originally a recording project of Katie Sawicki, a former-folksinger from Brooklyn gone electric, is now defined by its musical partner Zanny Geffel, on roots and jazz-inspired drums, and collaborator Jean Mastaler on pedal-driven electric violin and Andy Alseri on bass.
