Black Women make up just 3% of doctors, 2% of lawyers, and 1.6% of engineers in the United States. These black female professionals are often the “only” in their academic and professional spaces. Understanding the connections between social constructs of race, class, and gender, our organizations have partnered to provide a forum for Black professional women to share their insight and wisdom; recognize their personal and professional value; assess and obtain their true value in the workplace; connect with like-minded leaders, influencers, and entrepreneurs; and create an empowered community of Black female professionals. This seminar caters to all black women professionals and provides attendees with a safe space to share ideas, network, organize, relax, rejuvenate and recharge. General Registration for this event is $20.00.
