Join the New Orleans Chapter of the FBA on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 12 noon – 1:00 P.M. for a CLE on Confidentiality Designations and Sealed Documents. Hon. Karen Wells Roby (Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana), Hon. Michael B. North (Chief Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana) and Scott Sternberg (Sternberg, Naccari & White, LLC) will cover confidentiality designation and sealed documents procedures, limitations, and recent case law related to the same. The CLE will also incorporate the judges’ local rules and court rules on the issues, explanation of the dos and don’ts, best practices, how to best utilize protective orders in your matters, and discussions needed with your client and opposing counsel. Troy Bell (Irwin Fritchie Urquhart & Moore) and Farren Davis (McGlinchey Stafford PLLC) will moderate. This one hour CLE will include a light lunch.
