Woodshop Safety Orientation ClassIn this class, we introduce and use all of the major power tools in The Foundry's Woodshop. At the end of the session, you will have a strong grounding in safely working in the shop; you'll hold your own completed small cheese board created during the course. Class Cost: $60 (materials fee included) Class Size: Min 4/ Max 6 This class needs to meet the minimum enrollment in order to run. Participants will be notified of the status of class the Monday prior to the first session. In case of cancellation, participants can choose another scheduled date if available or request a refund. Ages: 16+    Membership: Upon completion of this orientation - and with a donation to The Foundry as a supporter, you're eligible to use our makerspaces during Open Maker Hours.
