Best The Oregon Bee Atlas is a community science driven initiative working to document the biodiversity of native bees and their floral relations in Oregon. Enormous contributions made by local volunteer bee surveyors has taught us much about the incredible bee diversity in the Klamath-Siskiyou Ecoregion. Lincoln is the native bee taxonomist for the Oregon Bee Atlas and Master Melittologist programs at Oregon State University. He works internationally with a broad spectrum of stakeholders on bee biodiversity research, restoration, and conservation. The second portion of the talk will give an introduction to assessing your own home habitat using the Xerces Society's "Habitat Assessment Guide for Pollinators." Dave is a Xerces Society Ambassador and in that role is involved in educational and outreach work. Additionally he is an Oregon Master Naturalist and Master Melittoligist Apprentice.
