My name is Mario Godoy and my firm Godoy Law Office represents immigrants navigating the immigration system and we also represent immigrants accused of crimes. Part of the reason I went to Law School was so I could achieve financial freedom while making a difference in the world. But law school never taught us the business of running a successful law firm. As a small firm, I’ve been reaching out to experts to help us build our firm as a “business” and I realized, that I’m not the only lawyer who didn’t learn how to be an entrepreneur in law school. I’ve learned that every successful law firm has seven working parts:Marketing;Client Conversion;Factory (Delivery of Services);People;Physical Plant;Financial Controls; Owner Goals.The Power Lunch is designed to help us network and to work on one part of the seven working parts of a law firm.
