What We're Doing:*Please Read Full Description* We're going to meetup and engage in some Pass-Along-Painting! Here's how it works; everyone starts with a painting and when the music stops you pass on the painting to the right! Paintings can start and end however you want! The exciting thing is as we move on from painting to painting we'll be learning to let go and at the end of 1.5 hours you'll receive the painting you started with, with contributions from everyone at the event! Step 1: Arrive Step 2: Get situated and comfy / get out any snacks you brought Step 3: Contribute a song to the playlist we'll be painting to Step 4: Start painting...and get ready to pass along the painting the second that the song switches! Step 5: You'll take home a painting that everyone at the event has contributed to which could be anything from an abstract piece to a landscape to a portrait! No paintings ever turn out the same! Super Important Details about Location (Freedom Park)The exact location of the class/workshop is Shelter #6 at Freedom Park. Please make sure to read all of the following details before purchasing your ticket! 1: Parking/Walking to LocationParking at freedom park is not always easy. I've attached an illustrated map which shows where we are meeting, and where you could potentially park at Freedom Park. Please make sure to view that. Walking will be required, from parking to the Shelter we're meeting at (Shelter #6). Depending on where you park, it may be a walk of around 0.25 (a quarter) mile. *Once you park, you are welcome to give me a call, I will send out my number in the order confirmation, I am always able to help people find us in the worst case scenario. 2: It might be hot in the parkI am bringing a cooler with water bottles, and iced coffee. However you are encouraged to dress as lightly as possible, and just be aware that summertime in Charlotte can get very hot. We are meeting in a shelter, there is no AC. 3: In the Event of RainYou will be given a refund in the event of heavy rain and/or storms. I will also cancel the event for extreme weather. In the event of light rain, I will still hold the event, but you can get a refund if you prefer (rainy day landscape painting can actually be a lot of fun... just bring an umbrella to get from parking to the shelter!) 4: Try to get to the park about 15-30 minutes earlySo you have time to find parking and the painting location!
