Description

Creating an engaging school age environment can be a difficult process. From arranging program space to equipping activity areas with high quality materials, setting up a successful program takes thoughtful planning and foresight. Get ready for training geared towards school age professionals who want to make the most out of their program environment. School age leaders of all experience levels will develop an understanding of room arrangement and layout with consideration of the Division of Child Development, and Early Educations (DCDEE) Rules and Regulations and the School Age Care Environmental Rating Scale Updated (SACER-U) assessment tool. Participants will learn how to maximize the potential of their learning space and material placement through hands-on collaboration and brainstorming.
