Let's walk along the lake this Sunday while we work on how to identify different culinary fungi and discuss their nutritional values Things We May Find: Chicken of the Woods, Puff Balls, Cauliflower Mushroom, Chanterelle, Lobster Mushrooms, Meadow Mushrooms, Boletes, Indigo, Parasol, Peppery Milkcaps, Shaggy Manes, Honey 5 out of 10 strength and endurance - approximately 4 1/2 mile walk on no or very few dedicated paths Dress for weather and comfort Bring tools for gathering fungi and water and bag lunch. *Must wear BRIGHT ORANGE or REFLECTIVE clothing / hat* NO BATHROOM ON SITE ! Identification materials will be provided at the location. Last but not the least, follow the CDC guideline for Covid-19.
