Join us on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 for the premiere film screening of "De-Escalate!," a short documentary by Atlanta filmmakers, Ryon and Tyson Horne, followed by panel discussion on policing and public safety in Atlanta. “DE-ESCALATE!,” a short documentary that tells the story of an intense protest that happened after Rayshard Brooks was killed by an Atlanta police officer in June 2020. Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion with Director of Public Policy at the Southern Center for Human Rights, Tiffany Williams Roberts, cast member and activist Toni-Michelle Williams, and filmmaker, Ryon Horne. After the panel discussion, there will be an open Q&A, where attendees can direct their questions to the panelists and offer their own thoughts and opinions about the current state of policing and public safety in Atlanta. Masks are required. Doors open at 6:30PM and the film will begin promptly at 7PM.
