GOAT is expanding their ministry to serve the City of Travelers Rest and Marietta by building a state of the art climbing center at 999 Geer Highway, Travelers Rest, SC. This will be the only non-profit climbing gym in all of South Carolina, offering an exceptional climbing experience for all people. We are passionate about providing incredible experiences, and making sure they aren’t cost prohibitive for ANYONE. An indoor climbing center will allow GOAT to expand their mentor services, providing more group and individual mentoring opportunities for middle and high school students. This will also provide GOAT with a dedicated space to have “adventure experiences” even during the rainy/cold months. GOAT has provided mentoring services through outdoor adventures for over 9,000 students since 2009! These mentoring services have changed the life trajectory of countless students. We're excited to see the GOAT Climbing Center expand this work for years to come.
