Leapfest is a parachuting competition in which Soldiers from around the world jump out of CH-47 Chinook helicopters in hopes of having the fastest time to reach the target area on the drop zone. We invite you to come out to the drop zone and watch these paratroopers compete. Leapfest is 100% free and open to all members of the general public. This event is a great way to get out of the house and have fun with the whole family! Local vendors, including food trucks, will be on site and patrons are encouraged to bring their own chairs and coolers to enjoy the days festivities. Parachute jumps will be taking place throughout the day and attendees are free to come and go as they please. Leapfest is an alcohol free event, no alcohol will be allowed on the premises. Free parking is located on site only a short walk from the drop zone. Handicap accessible parking is also available closer to the drop zone. In the event of poor weather Leapfest will be rescheduled for the same time on Sunday August 7th. Tickets / registration is not required. Eventbrite page is purely to promote the event. All are welcome free of charge regardless of ticket / registration status.
