Annual Back to School Block Party hosted by the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce and Genesis Outreach, Inc along with the Alpha Alpha Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Zoar UMC Church, Cares Counseling, Good Morning Gwinnett Podcast, and Gwinnett County Public Schools. The event will begin at 9:30 am and will last until 1:30 p.m. and will include GNR County Health Departments for free health screenings and Covid vaccinations, free covid test kits, free clothes/shoes, free backpacks and school supplies (while they last), games and activities, local food vendors, voter registration, community services, and vendors featuring commercial or hand-made products.
