Brazen Shooter Fires Into Occupied Tampa Apartment In Broad Daylight

TAMPA, FL — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office trying to identify the person who fired multiple shots with an AR-15-style rifle into an occupied apartment Monday. According to the sheriff's office, at 11:30 a.m., the person, accompanied by at least one other person, fired numerous rounds from a rifle into an apartment at Willow Brooke Apartments, 14417 Hellenic Drive in North Tampa. No one was injured. One of the shooters was captured on a Ring video camera, armed with a rifle walking through the breezeway, and a woman was captured on video as well. The shooters were in a white Nissan Altima. "This suspect brazenly shot at an occupied residence in the middle of the day," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Thankfully, no one was injured, but I'm urging anyone who has any information as to the identity of the pictured suspects or pictured vehicle, please contact us immediately."
