Tampa Motorcyclist Dies In Crash On I-275 Exit Ramp

TAMPA, FL — A motorcyclist was killed when he lost control on a curve on the Interstate 275 exit ramp to 31st Street South, authorities said. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 33-year-old Tampa man entered the center median of the exit ramp at 1:45 a.m. Monday when he lost control. The man was thrown off the motorcycle and hit a guardrail, suffering fatal injuries. The motorcycle went over the guardrail and landed in the inside lane of the southbound entrance ramp. Authorities have not released the victim's name as of midday Wednesday.
