Sarasota GOP Headquarters Vandalized With Spray Paint: Report

SARASOTA, FL — Officials with the Republican Party of Sarasota are hoping the person responsible for vandalizing their headquarters will soon be caught. Sarasota County Commissioner Christian Ziegler posted to Facebook on Tuesday three photos that show someone in a hoodie spray painting anti-gun graffiti on the GOP's building. One photo shows a black heart painted on the side of the building with the word "guns" written inside of it. A second photo shows the words "property of the NRA" written in black paint on another part of the building. According to ABC7, the incident happened sometime overnight last month. Anyone with information should call the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office at 941-861-5800.
