Description

WALTHAM, MA — The City of Waltham closed part of Lake Street Wednesday as part of an infrastructure improvement project. Starting at 9 a.m., the city shut down Lake Street between Lexington Street and Nutting road to allow for water main lining. Officials have not said what time the street will reopen. Work will include cleaning and lining of the existing water main from Lake Street to College Farm Road and all required utility service repair. After the utility work is finished, crews will prepare to mill and pave the roadway. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2023.
