Description
MILFORD, MA — A former Milford bar and restaurant along Route 109 may soon become a new bank.
Milford Federal Bank has applied for a special permit to build a nearly 4,000 square-foot bank at 67 Medway St. — the site of the now closed Richard's Roadhouse bar and restaurant. The bank would include two drive-thru lanes and a parking area, according to a public notice.
The Milford Planning Board will hold a public hearing about the proposal at a meeting set for June 21.
The Milford Federal Bank application is the second recent proposal to raze a former restaurant along Medway Road.
Mendon-based Rte. 85 Realty Corp. has applied to build a gas station and car wash at the site of the former Alamo Restaurante. That site is almost right next door to Richard's Roadhouse at 55 Medway St.
