WISCONSIN — Two Wisconsin children's hospitals were among the best in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2022-23 Best Children's Hospitals rankings released Tuesday. Children's Wisconsin in Milwaukee was ranked No. 1 in the Badger State according to the ranking. The runner up was American Family Children's Hospital in Madison. The rankings highlight the top 50 centers in 10 pediatric specialties: cancer; cardiology and heart surgery; diabetes and endocrinology; gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery; neonatology; nephrology; neurology and neurosurgery; orthopedics; pulmonology and lung surgery; and urology. For the second year, U.S. News provided expanded rankings of hospitals by both state and multi-state regions. Every hospital included in the state rankings was ranked in at least two pediatric specialties. Here's how Wisconsin's hospitals stacked up.
