Press release from University of Wisconsin - Green Bay: June 13, 2022 Join the Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement for a theatrical day trip to "9 to 5 The Musical" at Theatre on the Bay on UW-Green Bay's beautiful Marinette Campus. The show is based on the seminal 1980 hit movie with music and lyrics by Dolly Parton from a book by Patricia Resnick. Set in the late 1970s. this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! Leaving from Manitowoc and Green Bay: The coach bus will pick up from UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus, and Hoffman Road park-and-ride in Green Bay. The show begins at 2 p.m. There are no refreshments available at the venue, but beverages (water, soda, ice tea) will be provided on the bus. The price for this day trip is $72, which includes transportation via coach bus from either site, ticket price and a meal served family style at Embers 1871.
