Established in 2017, Strictly Base LLC prides itself in professional and timely commercial flooring installation in the greater Snohomish county and surrounding area and has an immediate opening for full-time and/or part-time Flooring Installers & Helpers! While experience and your own tools are preferred, they are not required. We’re willing to train the right people in the installation of carpet, luxury vinyl tile, base, laminate, and more! Your compensation depends on experience and can quickly increase based on your performance starting between $17.27-$25.00/Hr. (DOE). About the Job: Install flooring by preparing surfaces; accurately cutting/fitting materials; meeting each job's specifications while maintaining safe working conditions with the support of your team and supervisor. Duties: - Prepares for flooring installations by gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; receiving on-sight deliveries; inspecting materials for damage; following proper material handling guidelines, completing demoing and floor prep as needed. - Installs flooring by determining and adjusting temperature and humidity; examining, correcting, and preparing subfloor conditions; unrolling and relaxing carpeting; laying-out and cutting materials; aligning pile and pattern; trimming and sealing seam edges; applying adhesives or tackstrips; stretching carpets; completing finishes at wall lines; installing transition moldings and base. - Cleans-up installation by removing scraps; vacuuming/mopping floors. - Maintains safe work environment by following safe practices; eliminating hazards; adhering to codes, regulations, and standards; maintaining ventilation.
