Description
Press release from the Town of Falmouth:
June 6, 2022
Dear Falmouth Residents,
"The Public Works Department is aware that the Town's vendor Republic Services for curbside collection of trash and recycling has been unable to complete all of its routes in recent weeks. We are in daily communication with the Republic Services in attempt to provide residents with timely and accurate information about collection schedule changes. Regrettably, the vendor has not always been able to provide accurate information about collection dates. We apologize the inconvenience that this has caused.
As a temporary measure, Public Works is opening up our Waste Management Facility to Falmouth residents for the purpose of bringing household trash (no MassDEP banned items) that has been missed by the curbside collection Contractor. Falmouth Residents will not be charged for dropping off up to 5 bags of household trash at this Facility. This free service will be offered daily from June 7th to June 17th from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
Thank you for your patience during this time."
Peter M. McConarty,
Director of Public Works
