Someone keeps flagging the post. To say im disgusted with what the community is turning to is an understatement. This poor dog needs a home. The pound informed me they will have him euthanized as they dont have the proper time or place for him. I have contacted 3 rescues that won't take him because he can't be around other animals unless someone is training and socializing him. I have a 6 month old German shepherd puppy that needs a new home. I am helping a family member who cannot properly care for him find a place for him. His name is Kenobi. I will be screening who he goes to extremely well. He is very sweet and only wants pet and loved on. Kenobi is incredibly smart but he's not been socialized or trained very well. I have been working with him lately and he has learned sit and is potty trained. He is very treat motivated. He does bark or whimper when needing to go out at night. He is kenneled and quiet at night or when you leave the home. He does well on car rides. During the day I take him out every 2 hours to be sure he gets the hamg of it. I will be requesting someone who is experienced and has a vet lined up with references. I do not want him going to a home with children as he is a rambunctious puppy at times and could hurt them. He also barks at children and will need to be socialized and trained how to behave around others. He has also never seen a cat before and I believe he shouldn't be homed with them. This boy will be on the very large scale when he is full grown so I would like someone experienced in large breeds preferably German shepherds. It will take a lot of training and patience but he will be an outstanding dog.
