Eager to Learn about Herbs and Foraging

Hello! I'm looking for someone older to teach me their ways with herbs, foraging, canning (preserving) or other such skills and crafts! I'm interested in learning from elders and also just building relationships in the community during a time where too often we're disconnected. I'm passionate about learning new skills but especially ones that have been relied upon for all of history. I want to know how to identify plants and medicine in the wild and how to make use of them once harvested. I don't have much money but if you'd like me to pay a fee for your knowledge please just let me know how much would work for you! I definitely value whatever knowledge you have to give and don't want you to feel taken for granted! I'm also willing to help with any small projects in exchange for your knowledge!
