Martin Monuments is looking to add a full time Monument Installer to assist with the installation of granite and bronze memorials, public monuments, and residential and commercial signage. Job Overview: • Installation of concrete foundations, headstones, monuments at gravesites as directed • Add, review, remove stencil on granite • Clean, repair, restore monuments • Remove sections of monument from truck bed and guide stone onto foundation using skids, handcart and hoist, or truck crane • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment • Unload/uncrate delivered products and load completed orders • Observe safety rules and ensure compliance with the operating procedures of federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA regulations and Safety and Environmental guidelines • Application of on-the-job training in procedures and safety practices • Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including but not limited to a shovel, pick, rake, sledgehammer, etc. • Ability to accurately use measuring devices (tape measure, yard stick, etc.) • Ability to communicate effectively with associates, client families, and cemetery representatives Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver’s license • Able to lift up to 125 pounds, push and pull up to 300 pounds, and walk, stand, bend for long periods of time • Mental alertness to ensure safe and accurate completion of work activities • Able and willing to work in various weather conditions outdoors and on a variety of different tasks • Maintain professional and respectful behavior in all work settings • Must pass DOT drug screening
