Press release from City of Bellaire:
June 9, 2022
Heat related illnesses are preventable. Start by drinking water before you get thirsty. Limit outdoor activity, take frequent breaks if you have to be outside, check on your neighbors, and never, ever leave a person or pet in a parked car. Check the backseat before you leave the vehicle!
Common symptoms of heat related sickness include headaches, dizziness, nausea, and loss of consciousness, passing out. Seek medical care or call 911 immediately if you suspect someone is suffering from a heat related illness.
