An Air Quality Alert has been issued for Louisville on Wednesday, June 15. Ground-level ozone pollution is forecast to be at levels that are unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children, older adults, those with asthma, COPD, and other breathing ailments.
It is recommended that sensitive groups reduce prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion, take more breaks, and do less intense activities. Other residents are not likely to be affected, but should still be aware of symptoms like coughing or shortness of breath.
