Triton Global is a 22-year-old auto and marine parts wholesaler in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We are looking for a long-term warehouse staff (Managing Operator) to manage our 4,000 sq ft warehouse located at the intersection of US-23 and Michigan Avenue (US-12). Work schedule: This is a full-time, 40 hour/week position. Warehouse operates daily from 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays). Occasionally may need to extend for a bit as overtime or adjustment. Daily job duties are (but not limited to) following: - Take release order and prepare shipments for carriers to pick up. i.e, pack boxes from inventory onto pallets and wait for a carrier to pick up; -Receive incoming shipments (check and set them on shelves); - Sort or rework non-conforming or defected parts occasionally; -Perform light assembling work occasionally; -Perform basic warehouse/office maintenance (housekeeping, office supply replacement etc.) Candidate must possess: -High school or higher degree diploma; - Forklift certificate (Must be able to skillfully operate a forklift); - Basic handyman skills; -Effective communication skills; - Well organized&attention to details; -Strong team work ethic; -Ability to lift at least 50 pounds; -Quick starter, self-motivated and highly disciplined person. Compensation: This position starts at $18-$20per hour (based on skills and experience) with the opportunity for quick advancement. Paid holidays and holiday bonus.
