Want to experience real shoot house training previously only available to military and law enforcement? This is the first step in bridging the gap between range training and real self defense. This course will take place in our expansive professional shoot house, located at The Louisville Armory. The 5-7 hour course (duration depends on number of participants) will start with a presentation on physiology during an altercation and the basic tenets of room clearing. Students will then train the basics of “slicing the pie” and tactical considerations inside of a building. The last portion of the course will be live scenarios in the shoot house where students will have to face live role players and make critical decisions on the fly armed with UTM guns (realistic training weapons that shoot non lethal marking projectiles). Participants in this class must have previous shooting experience and be comfortable with the use of handguns.
