Hard rock/experimental band looking for lead guitarist/bassist

Description

I'm looking for members to fill out an original hard rock/experimental band in the vein of Thrice, Incubus and Foo Fighters. I've been writing and recording music for the better part of 15 years, and after a full-length album a few years back and an EP during the pandemic, I've received a ton of positive feedback and I want to try to take it to the next level. You can listen to my music here: https://www.youtube.com/user/sonicpoetproductions. I wrote the songs, recorded all instruments and vocals, and did all mixing and processing in my home studio. I'll be doing rhythm guitar/vocals, and I have a cousin who'll be playing drums; all we need to get things going is a bassist and lead guitar player. I'd also consider adding keys to the mix. I'd like to use my albums as a starting point, and I've got some new songs with a similar style in the pipeline, but I'm certainly open to creating new, different material as well, and possibly throwing in some covers for good measure. You: -Be proficient enough on your instrument to be able to play the music well. Ability to sing backups is a plus. -Possess at least a basic knowledge of music theory. My music has some unusual chords, progressions, scales, and time signatures, so if you aren't familiar with those terms you should probably look elsewhere. -Have gig-ready equipment for whatever instrument you play. -Have an open mind and be willing to experiment and think outside the norm when it comes to music. -Please be over 21. (We're in our late 20s-early 30s.) -Be pleasant to be around. No overinflated egos or drug addicts need reply. A little about me: I play 5 different instruments, all of which I've played for over 15 years. I'm a professionally accomplished studio musician and audio engineer. I also have perfect pitch which means I won't sing off key. I've been in multiple bands over the years and have a good amount of stage/studio experience. However, I don't have delusions of rockstar grandeur or "making it." My goal at this point is simply to get the music out there and see what happens, then go from there. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, drop me an email with your info and experience, as well as playing samples if you have any. Thanks for reading! -Patrick
