About Edible Alchemy: We are a small manufacturing facility that specializes in fermentation and mushroom products. We are busy, but committed to creating a culture of love and support. About the position: Our production manager just needs help. The exact responsibilities will change day to day. Some of the various tasks may include- - Packaging - Labeling - Straining - Cutting vegetables - Making sauerkraut - Bottling - Jarring - Cleaning - Scanning and filing - Stocking - Organizing - Dishes - General production assistance (Again, these are not daily responsibilities, but an overall view of things we may ask you to help with.) About you: - Positive attitude - Willingness to help - Kind - Ability to follow direction and complete tasks - Excited to learn new things - Responsible and capable of showing up for your shifts on time and ready to work - Respectful and courteous to others - Ability to lift 40lbs and work on your feet - Strong communication skills/ability to hear and express needs Bonus, but not required: - Interest in mycology, chemistry, or general science - Interest in fermentation - Driver's License - Experience in being part of a team No work experience required for the right person. It is more important to us that you are excited to be a part of the team and capable of learning and following direct. The position is as entry level as it gets. Starting pay is $13/hour, with a raise at 90 days. Hours and shifts are very flexible. As long as there is consistency, it is likely that we can work around your schedule. Position is part time. We are thinking 15-24 hours per week, but can go up or down for the right person. We are fine with someone just looking for the summer, but there is a ton of room for growth, if we find someone that fits and is interested in a long term position.
